This beautiful poem from Sue Whittick .. I love to hear her saying them , and can hear her as I type

This picture is also of her painting ... gifted , lovely friend

Messages around me surge

Momentarily I wobble

But looking up hope embraces me

I'm swept up in wonder at Your magnificence

Tracing the contours of your face your gaze re-assures me

Your eyes like mirrors show me who I am

Like David , a shepherd , musician , warrior , king ,

I rest like a weaned child in your arms

not concerned with great matters

Or things too difficult for me

Weak in frail humanity , but strong inside the Son in me

Spirit empowered , content, free

My Father's child
